Ashkelon WwTP was recently upgraded and extended to 40,000 m3/meter.
The project included an additional detailed design for aerobic reactors for
Nutrient removal, and an extra secondary clarifier and a new gravitaional
sand filtration as a tertiary treatment. Now days the plant is a about to be
extended to full population capacity of 75,000 m3/day.
